Warranty Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

FOR EU AND UK CUSTOMERS

1. Statutory Legal Warrant (Mandatory Under EU/UK Law)

In compliance with the EU Consumer Goods Sales Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/771) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) — and the equivalent UK law — all XtraMaker DTF printers and original included accessories are covered by a minimum 2-year statutory legal warranty, effective from the date of delivery to the end-user. This statutory warranty is mandatory and cannot be excluded, restricted, or reduced by any other terms in this document.

2. Commercial Limited Warranty (Voluntary Additional Coverage)

In addition to the mandatory 2-year statutory warranty, XtraMaker provides an extra 1-year commercial limited warranty for the DTF printer, commencing on the original purchase date. This commercial warranty offers additional coverage beyond the EU/UK statutory minimum requirements.

3. Component-Specific Warranty Periods

4. Consumables Coverage

Consumable items — including ink, DTF film, powder, cleaning solutions, and maintenance supplies — are subject to normal wear, consumption, and depletion. They are not covered for normal service life or performance degradation due to regular use, but remain covered under the statutory warranty for manufacturing defects proven to exist at the time of delivery.

5. What Is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use, in accordance with EU/UK consumer law. Coverage applies regardless of whether the product is used for personal, commercial, rental, or light industrial purposes; usage scenario alone cannot exclude statutory warranty rights.

6. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover failures or damages not attributable to manufacturing defects at the time of delivery, including:
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation of the product;
  • Failure to follow the official user manual, installation, or maintenance instructions;
  • Use of non-original, third-party ink, film, powder, or accessories that directly cause the defect — use of third-party consumables may damage the printhead and void warranty coverage for the affected components;
  • Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair by unqualified third parties that directly causes the defect;
  • Damage from unstable power supply, improper transportation after delivery, fire, flood, lightning, or other force majeure events;
  • Normal cosmetic wear and tear, or aging caused by daily use;
  • Defects solely caused by third-party non-original firmware, software, or incompatible accessories;
  • Printhead clogging or damage caused by failure to perform routine maintenance (e.g., nozzle cleaning) as specified in the user manual, or by leaving ink-loaded printers unused beyond recommended intervals.
Note: Nothing in this clause limits your statutory right to claim remedies for inherent product defects existing upon delivery under EU/UK law.

7. EU/UK Statutory Consumer Remedy Rights

Within the 2-year statutory warranty period, you are entitled to the following remedies free of charge, in accordance with EU/UK law:
  1. First, we will offer free repair or free replacement of the defective product or defective parts;
  2. If repair or replacement is impossible, unreasonably delayed (exceeding 30 days), or causes significant inconvenience, you may choose partial price reduction or full contract cancellation with a full refund;
  3. Burden of Proof: If a defect appears within the first 12 months (EU) / 6 months (UK) after delivery, the defect is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. XtraMaker shall bear the burden of proof to deny liability for such defects. After that period, the consumer bears the burden of proof.

3. Consumables Coverage

Consumable items — including ink, DTF film, powder, cleaning solutions, and maintenance supplies — are subject to normal wear, consumption, and depletion. They are not covered for normal service life or performance degradation due to regular use, but remain covered under this warranty for manufacturing defects identified within the applicable period.

4. What Is Covered

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the DTF printer and included accessories under normal use, provided that:
  • The product is purchased from an authorized XtraMaker channel in the US;
  • The product is authentic and used in accordance with the official user manual;
  • Valid proof of purchase is provided.
This warranty is a "Limited Warranty" as defined by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and does not include full coverage for all possible defects or damages.

5. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation of the product;
  • Failure to follow installation, usage, or maintenance instructions in the user manual;
  • Commercial, rental, or industrial use (unless explicitly approved in writing by XtraMaker);
  • Use of non-original, third-party ink, film, powder, or accessories that cause the defect;
  • Unauthorized parts, disassembly, repairs, or modifications to the product;
  • Power issues (e.g., voltage surges), transportation damage after delivery, fire, water, or other force majeure events;
  • Normal wear and tear or consumption of consumable materials;
  • Third-party software, firmware, or accessories that are not approved by XtraMaker;
  • Printhead clogging or damage caused by failure to perform routine maintenance as specified in the user manual, or by leaving ink-loaded printers unused beyond recommended intervals.

6. Consumer Remedy Rights (US)

Within the warranty period, XtraMaker will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace defective parts free of charge (including parts and labor) for covered defects. If repair or replacement is not feasible, XtraMaker may offer a partial refund or replacement product, subject to the terms of this limited warranty.
Pursuant to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, XtraMaker may not deny warranty coverage solely because you used third-party parts or had the product repaired by a third party, provided that such parts or repairs do not cause the defect.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Shipping for Warranty Service

For confirmed warranty claims, XtraMaker will cover reasonable shipping costs for sending the defective product or parts to the service center and returning the repaired or replacement product to you. For non-warranty repairs, shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original end-user purchaser of the product from XtraMaker or an authorized reseller.
